I had an excellent experience. The job was complex, but everyone kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I felt as if they really cared about customer satisfaction and more importantly, I truly believed that their rates are fair. As a female, I often worry about being fleeced by transmission specialists, but their honesty is reassuring.
Amazing service. They even took the time to check if the brakes were working properly both front to back instead of just replacing my worn out brakes. They really go above and beyond to make sure your car is working properly.
Thanks for the excellent service! I called in about VSC & check engine light on my Lexus RX 300. Derek and his team were able to diagnose the issue and on top of that provide a routine check up for other parts of my car as well (breaks, filter, etc). I took my car in and was able to pick it up a few hours later. 10/10 service!

About 2 weeks ago my 2017 Subaru Outback started hesitating and jerking when accelerating. It also happened while driving, especially when going uphill. I had no idea where to take it until I read the reviews for Aamco Transmission and Derek in Walnut Creek. The reviews are spot on and more. I could not have been more pleased with the service. Within 24 hours the problem, spark plugs, was diagnosed and fixed. Derek and his team are wonderful and I will be taking my car there for service. Susan
Well the owner and their employees they're really good customer service they're they're unknown for a long time I'm going there for a long time so I mean they're just really kind and considerate and they they tell you what it is what's going on and you know they're straight up with you and they're just good people there I would recommend them to anybody I give them a thumbs up all the time
We have had A/C fixed for multiple cars here although they do much more than that. The owner Derek keeps you informed of everything that's going on, your options, and makes it easy to drop off and pick up your car. Highly recommend.
